Karen Collins

Owner & Principle Planner

With over 11 years experience in the wedding and special events industry as well as a strong background in hospitality working with the Ritz-Carlton and Hilton, I have developed a high standard of excellence and love making that personal connection with my clients. I love the opportunity to design events using classically elegant themes but making them pop with bold colors or unique elements.

I'm a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and I strive to learn more every day about our ever changing wedding industry. I believe your perfect wedding day exists and strive to make it real. For the biggest day of your lives together, my team and I ensure you leave the stress behind and enjoy your wedding with your friends and family.

Every couple deserves a wedding coordinator at least for the wedding day and I truly enjoy creating a seamless day for my couples. It's all about memories, not timelines.

After living in Florida for 23 years, I moved to Cincinnati and became a Midwestern girl. When I'm not busy planning weddings, I spend my time with my husband, Andy, who has been my biggest supporter and with our son, who just turned one. We're big travelers, so don't be surprised to see us jetting away to somewhere new!

Sydney Schmitz

Lead Event Coordinator

Joining the KMC team was a perfectly natural fit for me, allowing me to combine my degree in photography as well as my years spent in the fine dining and special events industry. Taking my love for design and passion for excellence, I channel that into helping create the perfect wedding day for our couples.

Karen has been the best mentor I could ask for and I am always learning something new from her. I cannot wait to continue on this path so that I can help you have an event as unique and special as you are.

Born and raised in Cincinnati, I love splitting my time between being home with my family and two fur children, Radar and Stormy, and going out to the different places and events always happening in and around my city.
