Welcome!

We are so glad you are here and interested in learning more about how we do things here at KMC! There is so much that goes into making a wedding successful that many people don’t know about including how we work with vendors, why we do things a certain way or just the way we like to handle certain situations. Below, please find a few of the most asked questions we hear from potential clients. If you have more questions, please reach out!

  1. How Many Weddings Do You Do a Year?

    • We max out our weddings for the entire team at 22 per year among the four main planners & coordinators. KMC only does 8-10 of those per year as she only handles Full Planning & Design and prefers to space them out. We do not do two in a weekend so as to make sure we have backup just in case. We never want our clients to feel like a number so completely filling up our team calendar, let alone one planner’s, is not a priority. The client experience is the priority.

  2. If I Hire You For Planning & Design, Can I Use My Own Florist?

    • Short answer: no. Unless the florist you want to use happens to be one of our preferred florists. We have our own floral teams we use and it is required that we work with them exclusively to protect the integrity of your event design. If you like the work you see us create, our floral designers are the ones who have collaborated with us to dream up those designs.

  3. Can We Hire Your Team For Less Than 60 Days For the Wedding Management Service?

    • There is so much that goes into tying up details of a wedding that we do not offer anything less so we can better serve you. This gives us time to understand what you have planned on your own, what needs to be done, let’s us create your timeline and layout, connect with your vendors and to attend your final details meeting at your venue. The more we know, the better we can take care of you and your guests and vendors on wedding day. “Day of Coordination” is not a thing here - we can’t just walk in on the wedding day without prior preparation if you want us to do our very best!

  4. Do You Help Coordinate Our Vendors In Wedding Management?

    • Yes absolutely. After we have our initial meeting, we will reach out to all your vendors to introduce ourselves, share with them the draft timeline and find out what they need to have a successful day (and their arrival/departure times). We will work with them to create a seamless timeline and ensure everyone has what they need to take care of you on wedding day. We are your point of contact with them, especially the last 30 days, so that any final questions or changes don’t fall directly onto you preventing any feelings of being overwhelmed.

  5. If We Are Doing Planning & Design With You, Can I Be Hands On?

    • Yes, please! Designing for you is a journey. We spend time getting to know you as well as sending a couple of in depth questionnaires to help us pull out tiny details of your story, your style and personalities. We have a very specific process and order of completion that we stick to when doing a design but we definitely want you to be a part of it. It’s your wedding. That being said, we need you to trust us and how we do things. We will guide you and show you things that might be out of your comfort zone - because honestly, Pinterest has made it too repetitive in wedding design. We don’t need to copy what you see but being inspired is OK and it is our job to put your personality and nuances into your overall wedding aesthetic.

  6. Do You Offer Partial Planning?

    1. We only offer two services. Full Planning & Design which we work with you beginning to end - planning, design and production. Then we have our 60 Day Wedding Management service which you plan and we get you across the finish line. Partial Planning is not something we offer. We are either with you from the get go or we have a team help coordinate your last couple of months and on wedding day. If you have a wedding management service booked with us but want to do a consultation prior to your 60 days, that is available as an add-on charged per hour.
